This guide explains how credits work, how to manage your subscription, and how to purchase additional credits when you need more runway.
How Credits Work
Every 15 minutes of processing time for an analysis run costs one credit. An estimated credit cost is shown before you start a run. Credits are only deducted upon successful run completion — failed runs are never charged.
Credit Types
| Type | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Recurring | Included with your subscription plan. Reset each billing cycle. Unused recurring credits do not roll over to the next cycle. |
| Perpetual | Purchased via Refuel packs. Never expire. Carry over indefinitely between billing cycles. |
Deduction Order
When a run completes successfully, credits are consumed in this order:
- Recurring credits first — They expire at the end of the billing cycle, so the system uses them before perpetual credits.
- Perpetual credits second — Only consumed after recurring credits are exhausted.
This ensures your expiring credits are always used before the permanent ones.
Credit Estimation
Before starting a run, the Run Configuration Dialog displays an estimated credit cost based on your current settings — number of trials, iterations per trial, and data size. Review the estimate and confirm you have a sufficient balance before proceeding. There are no surprises.
Failed Run Policy
If a run fails for any reason — infrastructure error, data issue, or timeout — no credits are charged. Credits are only deducted for successfully completed processing time. You can safely re-run without worrying about losing credits to failed attempts.

- You can purchase multiple packs at any time.
- Packs are available in several sizes to fit different workloads.
Team Billing
For team workspaces, billing is managed at the organisation level — one shared pool for the whole team.
How Team Credits Work
- The team has a single shared credit pool.
- When any team member completes an analysis in the team workspace, credits are deducted from the team pool.
- Personal workspace runs use your individual credit balance — workspace pools are separate and do not mix.
Owner Controls
Only team Owners can:
- View the team’s transaction history.
- Purchase Refuel packs for the team.
- Change the team’s subscription plan.
All team members can view the current credit balance.
Transaction History
The Billing page includes a chronological transaction log you can use to track credit usage across the account or team.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | When the transaction occurred |
| Description | What happened (e.g., “Analysis Run — Project Name”, “Refuel Pack Purchase”) |
| Amount | Credits added (+) or consumed (−) |
| Balance | Running credit balance after the transaction |
Use the transaction log to:
- Track credit usage over time.
- Identify which projects or runs are consuming the most credits.
- Verify Refuel pack purchases appear correctly.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| “Insufficient credits” when starting a run | Check your available balance on the Billing page. Purchase a Refuel pack or wait for the next billing cycle to receive recurring credits. |
| Credits not appearing after purchase | Refresh the Billing page. If credits still do not appear after a few minutes, contact support. |
| Unsure which workspace is being charged | Check the active workspace in the workspace switcher. Credits are deducted from the active workspace’s pool. |
| Unexpected charges in transaction history | Credits are charged based on actual processing time (1 credit = 15 minutes). Review the description column to identify which project or run consumed credits. |
