MMM Pilot supports both solo and team workflows. Work privately in your personal workspace or bring in your colleagues through shared team workspaces — with granular access control that keeps everyone in the right seat.
Workspace Types
Personal Workspace
- Created automatically for every user on registration.
- Projects in your personal workspace are exclusively yours.
- Only you can access them unless you explicitly share a project.
Team Workspace
- Created by one user who becomes the team Owner.
- All team members see a shared project list when they switch to the team workspace.
- Team billing is centralised — one credit pool for all runs within the workspace.
- You can create and manage multiple teams from the same account.
Team Management
Creating a Team
- Navigate to Settings → Team.
- Click Create Team.
- Enter a team name.
- The creating user becomes the team Owner with full permissions.
Inviting Members
- From the Team Settings page, use the Invite Member section.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Select their role: Owner or Member.
- If the invited person does not yet have an MMM Pilot account, they receive an email invitation to register.
User Roles
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full team control: manage members, manage billing, create and delete projects, adjust settings. |
| Member | Create projects, run analysis, and access shared projects according to project-level permissions. |
Removing Members
- Owners can remove members from the team at any time.
- When a member is removed, any projects they own within the team workspace are transferred to the owner who performed the removal — so no projects are ever left without an owner.
Project Sharing
Share individual projects with specific users and set exactly the level of access they need.
Access Levels
| Level | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control: edit, delete, share, run analysis, and manage data sources. |
| Editor | Edit project configuration, run analysis, manage data sources, and invite collaborators. Cannot delete the project or transfer ownership. |
| Collaborator | Execute model runs using the project’s current configuration. Cannot modify data sources or field mappings. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to results and data. Cannot modify anything or start runs. |
How to Share a Project
- Open a project.
- Click the Share button in the project header.
- Enter the email address of the person to share with.
- Select the access level.
- Click Share.
External User Restrictions
For team workspaces, sharing with users outside the team is intentionally limited to protect the team’s data and credit pool:
- External users can receive Viewer access only.
- Editor and Collaborator levels are restricted to team members.
- The project owner and team owners can revoke external access at any time.
Workspace Switching
If you belong to multiple workspaces — your personal workspace plus one or more teams — you can switch between them using the workspace switcher in the navigation sidebar.
- Switching changes the project list and credit balance displayed.
- The active workspace determines which credit pool is used for new runs.
- All workspace data is fully isolated — each project lives in exactly one workspace.
System Limits
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Maximum projects per user (across all workspaces) | Configurable per plan |
| Maximum runs per project | Configurable per plan |
